These are great for little kids or seniors who have alzheimers, dementia, in hospice care, or need some help keeping busy. It gives the fingers and hands something to do.   It can provide motor and sensory stimulation.

Different activities reduce boredom and increase attention span for people with dementia.

 

They feature zippers, ties, ribbon, strings, buttons, snaps, closures, and different textures.

Anything that can keep the fingers busy and can be washed will work.

They are similar to a quiet book, but are larger. It can be an apron or just a mat that is laid across your lap.
